A strip and wax service completely removes old wax, dirt, and buildup from vinyl composition tile (VCT). Fresh layers of wax are then laid to create a shiny finish that provides durable protection to the floor. This wax can be buffed to further strengthen and shine the wax. Wax recoats can be performed 3-5 times, about 6 weeks to 4 months apart (depending on a location's foot traffic) before another strip and wax is recommended. A similar process can be performed on raw concrete floors to clean and refresh them.
